Gangstalkers try hard to hide that their technology is based on sound preferring that people believe it is based on radio and microwaves. Some do report ultrasound or infrasound as a source for harassment from neighbors which is detailed here. Many victims noticed vibrations experienced by their bodies or around them, but did not realize that all vibrations are the a result of sound waves as they pass through matter. Electronic harassment people experience are sounds but people believed they are transmitted through radio waves not realizing that they could be targeted with direct sound or that such sound transmissions could be hidden within noise, infrasound, or ultrasound and not be easily detectable.

This article starts with an early report about Gangstalking by Julianna McKinney in 1992 and reports about sound use there. It then goes through experiences of victims of gangstalking where sound was mentioned as a source and will be updated further in this section. The article also contains summary of experiences of gangstalking from the “Phenomenology of Group Stalking” research paper explaining how these relate to use of sound.

It was already noticed that they use sound related equipment back in the 1990s as mentioned in the 1992 report by Julianna McKinney . Her paper includes number of reports from victims. One of these mentions “upright pianos” in all apartments surrounding where one of the victims lived: “One saw electronic equipment concealed inside a false-front upright piano being moved out of her apartment building. She had previously noted that all of her surrounding neighbors had identicalupright pianos in their apartments, not one of which was ever played.” In another case of a stalkers who moved out after his lies about being an active officer were found, the equipment was labeled “stereo” when he packed: “When the alleged officer moved out, his equipment (except for the oversized “microwave oven”) was packaged in boxes identifying the contents only as stereo components.” In another case she reported use of ventilation system to send noises to the apartment and use of electronic equipment inside: “Another individual paid a surprise visit to the apartment immediately beneath hers, in an attempt to identify the source of a tremendous racket in her ventilation system. Standing outside the door,she could hear an individual moving around, a short distance from the door. She also heard the sound of rustling paper and the steady, sonar-like “pinging” of some type of electronic device. In response to her repeated knockings on the door, the person inside simply stopped moving about.” Even more serious is this report of first a threat and then harassment against a children that involved sound and direct energy weapons (that were likely early version of sonic guns): “Another individual, during a telephone conversation, was told by an employee of a local power company that, if she valued the lives of her children, she would drop her public opposition to the company’s installation of high power lines. Since receiving that threat, the individual’s 11-year-old daughter has been reduced to extremes of pain, resulting in her recurrent hospitalization for treatment of illnesses which cannot be diagnosed. It is now also apparent to this individual that her three-year-old son is on the receiving end of externally-induced auditory input.”

People reported number of other health issues and Julianna McKinney notes these are likely due to direct energy weapons which could be based on electromagnetic (this includes microwaves) or sound waves: “Since publication of the preceding article less than four months ago, the association of National Security Alumni/Electronic Surveillance Project has heard from an additional 13* individuals who report both overt harassment and a range of symptoms which coincide with the known effects of exposure to microwaves, electromagnetic/radio frequency (RF) radiation and/or infrasound While her report did not point to any specific technology and type of weapon, people have primarily focused on microwaves and radio due to widespread use of these. This helped gangs to stay hidden. Playing on people fears they likely further misled victims into believing satellites, cell towers and other radio emitters are used against them, by the government.

There have been some report of ultrasound or infrasound as a source for harassment from neighbors: from people who may not have realized they are dealing with gangstalkers, who in these cases just wanted them out of their apartment:

So, instead of stopping being loud they started using some equipment (I guess an ultrasound producer) that creates a pressure in ears and head. It gets stronger when I am in rooms that are closer to them. It started 3 weeks ago with pressure in ears and headache. Now it feels like very strong pressure in head and ears, strong headache, pressure in chest, high heart rate and pain in heart, my gums started periodically bleeding, I have nausea and this is not the whole list… I had migranes before but this made it unbearable to live at home. Sometimes I have to leave my apartment at nights because it gets difficult for me to breathe.”

Found a temporary fix for the low frequency noise harassment (playing constant brown noise in the background), but whatever device is causing the vibrations and shocks is insidious because it's silent. No matter what surface you're sitting/sleeping on in your home, the vibrations travel up and into your body. It is painful and literally makes my skin crawl.”

Seen some people suggested this as revenge on bad neighbors as a last resort. Pure evil this neighbor would go on sites like this, ignore posters similar experience like mine and use their tips to harass me more”

In the two reddit posts above people experienced low frequency vibrations from upstairs or downstairs neighbors. Their experiences included whole-body vibrations, heart palpitations, brain fog (due to acoustic weapons use in general and multiple spots on the body being targeted and vibrated)., electric-like shocks (sonicator like sonic gun being used to activate a spot on a muscle or to cause injury to it) , muscle and bone aches, itchiness, muscle and limb twitching (targeting of specific muscles),, coughing fits, stomach pain and nausea, balance problems (due to infrasound and low frequency sounds that affect vestibular receptors in the inner ear), and other internal organ issues Electronic harassment was also experienced and in one case dealt with by using brown noise which like white noise can act as a blocker and makes some of the methods less effective. The people thought they had evil neighbors intend to drive them out, but did not connect these to gangstalking because their encounters with them were apparently not long-term.

The Phenomenology of Group Stalking Research Paper (https://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/17/7/2506 mentioned before contains quotes from victims of gangstalking. The paper separated stories into quotes that were categorized. 94% of stories have reports of being followed by people in cars and on foot sometimes using disguise, Harassment and physical interference such as cars being forced off the road, foot route blocked, or people intentionally bumping are in 66% of stories. Noise reports such as door slamming and other noise from neighbors, same sound repeated from outside, pebbles being thrown, etc. are in 44% of stories. “Mind control” was reported in 40% of stories (some are below). Electronic hacking such as cell phone hacking was reported by 38% (some are below). Physical ailments reports are in 36% of stories (some are below). Slander campaign is reported in 34% of stories and consists of lies being told to others in the community about the target. Vandalism of personal property such as cars is reported by 32%. Voice to Skull is reported by 26% (some are below). Physical attacks are reported by 22% but these largely relate to sonic guns and included in physical ailments. 80% believe this is a global conspiracy and many blame the government due to high technology used. I disagree, the reports in other categories are consistent with gang tactic and criminal mischief, and the gangs purposely mislead so victims think it is the government. Their technology is sophisticated, but again people are being fooled that it is more than it is. In the stores 32% believe police are involved because their stories are not believed (there may also be real incidents; gangs are also known for using disguise), 26% believe neighbors are involved, 20% believe some medical professional are involved, 24% believe family or friends are involved, while 26% report that family or friends started being followed and experienced gang stacked after. The quotes that relate to the use of sound technologies by the gangs are below:

1. Physical ailments. These are due to use of sonic guns on head, foot, and other body areas:

• “Skin is peeling off, my scalp has been burned quite a few times. I have been poisoned, diarrhoea for seven days straight until I was able to get medicine”,
• “There were many nights that I was gassed and electrocuted and I did not think I would live long enough to see the daylight hours the next morning.”,
• “So much gamma rays and irradiation pumped through me and it hurts”,
• “My scalp has been burned quite a few times. I have been poisoned, diarrhea for seven days straight until I was able to get medicine”, “I have undergone extreme poisoning within my home. My body literally has been shocked more times than I can count. The most occurrences happen when I try to go to sleep at night. Sleep deprivation is, I am assuming, one of their favorite punishments. My skull has been fried and replaced with who knows what. At one time, I could barely leave my house because of the 'melting' feeling in my head. They constantly play with my heart as if it is a bean bag and it has also been subjected to their very joyful shock treatment”

2. Surveillance, listening to phone conversations, hacking. These are result of gangs monitoring what victims hear themselves (and not their cell phones) and their internally spoken thoughts:

• “My ex-husband's and my cell phones were cloned.”,
• “before I got my email to confirm, they had already changed my password. They are That Quick”
• “The residence I live in was electronically bugged or I was put under audio and visual surveillance”
• “The perps hack into not only my telephones but all the cell phones of my family members too in order to obtain information about my travel plans so that they can arrange people at strategic locations to demonstrate street theater in”, (Note: they are monitoring her voice communication and thus are always nearby. Street theater only needs 1-2 people who would make it appear that others are talking about them)

3. “Voice to Skull” (v2k), “Mind Control”. (Their technology is typically understood by people as being v2k-like. The actual technology uses direct sound to the ears, vocal cords, and other neck and back of the head muscles to monitor internally spoken thoughts and make it possible for them to hear transmissions. The repeated phrases people hear come from directed sound and at the same time are sent through vocal cords to make it appear as part of inner speech - this is what most think this is v2k communication as these appear inside the head and can be loud)

• “The electronic harassment and everything else comes from your neighbors.”
• “They automate the V2K. It is repetitive and constant. It is comprised entirely of insults and instructions to “Go”, “Get out”, “You better get out of here”, “Dead”, “You're in trouble” and “Out”. Over and over and over.”
• “I 'hear' the voices of people who interrogate me and maltreat and torture me around the clock”
• “v2k is speaking from a man on the business end of it for four years now the most insidious evil technology”
• “I've also been brainwashed via v2k in the past, to believe, alien species, i.e., insectorpeeds, anthrapods and huge arachnids are going to eat me”
• “I have been a victim of 24/7 covert electronic surveillance, psychological harassment, manipulation and mind control.”
• “They insert thoughts and ideas and it took me a while to work out that these were not my thoughts, not my own ideas.”
• “Mind control tactics are highly sophisticated, and they have Orders that make you see reflections of yourself”
• “It is part of an overt agenda to create and test mind control. They are creating weaponry tested on us.”
• “People have no idea of just how far advanced the authorities are in mind control methods and the means they have to apply it.”

4. “Cyborg” (Some think implants are used to receive voice transmission, others for muscle control. Neither is true. Their technology involves limited sound-based remote control of muscles using activated spots that would have constant sound beams and vibrations.)

• “They are building cyborg-techniques inside of me. I don't know how, but they are doing it wirelessly”
• “I consider myself lucky in one way, if I can say that, I was surgically mutilated more than 30 years ago and I think that since than the implants in me loosened up a little bit. I went to sauna, went to baro-chamber and did many crazy things in desperation.” (Note: sauna is where sonic gun was used on this person's muscles, they did not realize it and likely thought muscles were heated due to sauna itself)
• “I am curious about how a person like myself might get into contact with someone who can help to remove implanted devices, evaluate for implanted devices and .. to take a proactive approach to halt this sort of thing.”
